Our guesthouse design was inspired by a visit to Chris' old friend in Fulham, London who lives in old Victorian house. A Victorian design and fixture is beyond our means, however. So, we settled with what is practical for our particular location but with a glimpse of Victorian here and there.
Our furnishings were mostly sourced from local craftsmen as we believe in supporting the region’s industries.
Albay is a traditional centre for handicrafts made of all kinds of natural fibres and other materials so the stalls at the airport, bus station, Embarcadero or Cagsawa are good places to look for these souvenirs. Visits to production sites can be arranged as well.
